Apparently not every one can create a real-life R2-D2 in Star Wars. But if you want to make a R2-D2 model, the egg version R2-D2 may be more suitable for you.
The unique R2-D2 model called Regg2De2 was created by Jeremy Hauck, a young maker from instructables. As we can see from the image, the maker utilized a common egg as the main part of the iconic Star Wars robot: R2-D2. And similar with the original one, Regg2De2 features a turnable head, a blue diode for hologram graphics, and fully adjustable legs. Of course, the unique R2-D2 can’t repair your fridge or oven, but if you want, the cute robot will become a delicious food. After the break, check out the following video.
Jeremy has posted the full making steps on instructables, so if you also want to use an egg to make a R2-D2, jump to instructables for more details. Additionally, if you need more R2-D2 models, you might like to check the LEGO R2-D2, R2-D2 amigurumi, and more via “R2-D2” tag.
