Fujifilm has released Instax Mini LiPlay, its latest hybrid instant camera. Need a more tactile way to share your photos with attached sound? Let’s keep checking.
The Instax Mini LiPlay is a beautifully designed and advanced hybrid instant camera that measures 82.5 × 122.9 × 36.7mm and weighs approx 255g. As shown in the images, unlike other Instax instant cameras with a square form factor such as Instax Square SQ20, the Instax Mini LiPlay looks more like a point-and-shoot camera, while the embossed finish, textured exterior and smooth sides bring classic detailing to the modern mobile device. Meanwhile, three optional colors ensure it meets different personal styles.
The instant camera comes equipped with a 1/5 type CMOS sensor with a sensitivity range from ISO 100 to 1600 and fixed 28mm-equivalent lens with f/2.0 aperture, so you can use it as a compact digital camera.
More importantly, integrated instant photo printer allows it to print 2.4 x 1.8 inch images on a 3.4 x 2.1 inch sheet in 12 seconds. Furthermore, the camera is capable of recording up to 10 seconds of sound and convert the sound data into a QR code, printing it onto your photo. Using a smartphone’s QR code reader, your friends or family can replay the audio message.
Moreover, a rear 2.7-inch LCD monitor is ideal to compose imagery, review photos and navigate printing menu. With an integrated small selfie mirror, the camera delivers perfect selfies. Built-in Bluetooth technology allows it to wirelessly connect with your smartphone for remote control and wireless printing of images. In addition, its rechargeable battery supports printing up to 100 photos on a single charge.
Fujifilm Instax Mini LiPlay hybrid instant camera is priced at $159.95 USD. If you’re interested, jump to the product page (silver, gold) for its more details.
