Sony RX100 V is a high-performance, compact digital camera that measures 4.0 x 2.3 x 1.6 inches and weighs 10.55 oz. As we can see from the images, the camera shows off a minimal and pocket-sized appearance, and its solid black exterior delivers pretty cool modern aesthetics.

The RX100 V comes equippped with a 20.1MP 1″ Exmor RS CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor in order to deliver outstanding image quality at up to ISO 12800 and enable continuous shooting with AF/AE at up to 24fps, and an expanded buffer makes continuos shooting possible for longer burst up to 148 jpeg or 71 raw files. Meanwhile, the compact camera is able to record UHD 4K video at 30/24 fps for up to 5 minutes.

The RX100 V also features a Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 24-70mm lens with f/1.8-2.8 aperture that allows it to capture a wide range of subjects in various situations, and its advanced anti-reflective coating prevents flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color performance.

Furthermore, its on-sensor phase-detection AF system delivers fast autofocus speed for both video recording and stills, and its 315 phase-detection points with a contrast-detection system provide accurate and fast focusing.

Moreover, Sony RX100 V also comes equipped with a pop-up 0.39″ XGA OLED electronic viewfinder, a 3.0″ Xtra Fine tilting LCD screen with WhiteMagic technology, and a pop-up flash. In addition, built-in WiFi and NFC connectivity enables the camera to wirelessly connect with your smartphone. Using its companion app, you can remotely control your RX100 V or share images and videos more easily.
