Generally there is no number pad on most of laptops and MacBooks. If you want to conveniently type numbers, you can add a USB numpad. Of course, the following number pad film should be also a nice solution in the near feature.

Number Pad Film is a convenient number typing solution for laptop, combined a number pad sticker and accompanying program. All you need to do is to apply the sticker to the touchpad of your laptop, and customize the hotkeys with the program, then the touchpad will be turned into a practical Numpad. When not in use, exiting the program will restore the normal function of the touchpad. Unfortunately, it’s just a design concept at present. We have no idea when the number pad film will become reality.
