To enhance the WiFi signal in the house, we have to add one or more WiFi range extenders, so talented designer came up with another easier way – Halo S, a concept modem router with detachable mini WiFi extenders.
Xindong (Jonathan) Che, an industrial designer from Sydney designed the innovative and practical WiFi router named Halo S. As shown in the images, the router has a simple, portable design and those functional details add minimalistic aesthetics to its cylindrical body.
The WiFi router features three disc-shaped mini WiFi extenders, and each is detachable, so you can take one of them and get enhanced WiFi signal anywhere at home, or you can also deploy the three mini WiFi extenders in different points at home in order to deliver a wider signal coverage. In addition, the three units can be recharged when docked on your Halo S. It’s a little pity that the flexible WiFi router is still a design concept.
