Omnifer: An iPad Case Designed for Blind and Visually Impaired Customers

Apparently it’s not easy to let blind and visually impaired customers fully enjoy Apple’s iPad, while the latest concept product Omnifer may be able to solve the problem.

Omnifer is a unique iPad case designed by designer Jayson D’Alessandro. As we can see from the images, the innovative iPad case features a Braille overlay that can be used to transform the contents of the page you’re surfing on the touch screen into Braille in order that the blind and visually impaired users can easily read it. While not in the Braille mode, the three panel design can also effectively protect the iPad from bumps and scratches.
