Build Your Own Teardrop Camping Trailer by Yourself

We introduced Happy Camper’s H1 travel trailer last week. Right, impressive, but expensive. Need some alternative? If you know some hands-on skills, you may like to build your own teardrop camping trailer by yourself. Nice idea? Let’s keep going.

Build Your Own Teardrop Camping Trailer

The teardrop camping trailer was built by ppeter0502 and his wife for their awesome old-fashioned American road trip. The fantastic couple spent about one week on finishing the travel trailer, and they successfully kept it below $2,200. The camping trailer has a wooden frame and is wrapped with plywood and aluminum sheet, which delivers a durable and lightweight construction.

Moreover, its interior up is big enough to accommodate two adults, and it has extra space for their daily items. For ample electricity, the travel trailer comes equipped with a 12V, 11 amp-hour, Deep Cycle boat battery that supports up to 48-hour full operation between charges. No doubt, the homemade trailer is much cheaper than H1 travel trailer, but it’s able to offer you a nice mobile dwelling and many convenient functions. Have you been ready to build it by yourself?
