Some people used recycled motherboards to make useful gadgets while some others created awesome art pieces such as the following World Map built with recycled computers.
Susan Stockwell, a British artist dedicated to creating art pieces with recycled computer components and other everyday materials, made the giant world map under the commission from Bedfordshire University. At present, the computer styled world map is installed in the atrium of the new student building. As we can see from the images, all the continents on the world map are composed by computer components, and the different colors show us the changing terrain.
