Wow! The adorable paper houses have recalled our nostalgia of childhood. If you felt the same way, the following pop-up paper house would be able to catch your eyes.
This is an innovative and exquisite doll house designed by Katherine Belsey from Brooklyn. Unlike traditional doll houses made from wood, the mini house is made from cardboard so it’s more budget friendly and convenient to store, and as we can see from the images, this is a 8-room apartment along with two-floor construction, and each room features all kinds of furniture and gorgeous decorations to fit the style of a high-end apartment, but you can’t get the off-the-peg paper house, you must use the paper templates, knife, ruler, and your patience to finish the pop-up paper house.
At present, the inventor of the pop-up paper house is raising fund at Kickstarter. Pledging $35 will let you own full color, 48-page book that contains all the templates and instructions and a PDF file. If you’re interested, jump to Kickstarter official site for more details.
My name is Jacky Ng. Currently, I work with a start-up brand called huzi, a smart design collection to encourage playful kids and adults to stay curious. We are launching our first product “Dream Car” on Kickstarter on Dec 14. It would be greatly appreciated if you could write about it and help us spread the word.
