Samsung has announced Galaxy Note 8, its latest flagship grade smartphone which boasts many advanced features like dual 12MP rear cameras, enhanced S Pen, Samsung DeX for extending mobile experience to the desktop, and more. Curious? Let’s keep checking.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is a high-performance, high-tech packed smartphone that runs Android 7.1.1 OS. The Android phone measures 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.6mm and weighs 195g. As shown in the images, the smartphone shows off a sleek and slim form factor, and the front panel looks a bit like Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, but the latest model features a more point-blank modern aesthetic style.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is powered by a 64-bit 10nm octa-core processor paired with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64/128/256GB internal storage in order to smoothly handle various tasks like hardcore mobile games, HD video playback and multi-tasking, and optional storage capacities allow it to fit for different demands. Moreover, word came that a model with 4GB RAM will be available in some religions and there will be a 8GB version available in South Korea.
Furthermore, Galaxy Note 8 comes equipped with a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display with 2960 x 1440 resolution and 521ppi pixel density for a superb mobile viewing experience. Meanwhile, the smartphone also features dual 12MP rear camera system that consists a wide-angle lens with f1.7 aperture and a telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. Both cameras feature 2x optical zoom, up to 10x digital zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS) for incredible mobile imaging performance. Its Live Focus allows you to control the depth of field for improved bokeh effect. Its dual capture mode lets you capture two photos simultaneously with two rear cameras. And a 8MP front-facing camera is designed for clear selfies and video chats.
Additionally, the Android phone also feature DeX that looks like Windows Continuum, which brings you a desktop computer experience powered by your Galaxy Note 8. An enhanced S Pen features 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, and it supports animated GIFs. Using enhanced translation, the stylus helps you translate entire sentences in up to 71 languages.
Apart from these, other features also include IP68 water-resistant casing, heart rate sensor, iris and fingerprint scanning, 3300mAh rechargeable Battery with wireless charging and compatible with QC 2.0.
