Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are two flagship grade smartphones that runs Android 7.0 OS. The Galaxy S8 measures 148.9 x 68.1 x 8.0mm, weighs 155g, and the Galaxy S8+ is a large-screen model that measures 159.5 x 73.4 x 8.1mm and weighs 173g. As we can see from the images, the Android phones show off an innovative, minimalistic and eye-catching appearance design, and compared with Galaxy S7, the two new handsets undoubtedly bring phone design to a new level with its bezel-free Infinity Display with no buttons and harsh angles.
The Galaxy S8 comes equipped with a 5.8″ quad HD+ display with 2960 x 1440 pixel resolution and 570ppi, and the Galaxy S8+ features a 6.2″ quad HD+ display with 2960 x 1440 pixel resolution and 529ppi. The home button has been built under the screen plus curved design in order to delivers a wider viewing field and handy control experience.
Furthermore, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are equipped with an advanced 8MP f/1.7 smart autofocus front camera and 12MP f/1.7 Dual Pixel rear camera for high-quality selfies and phonegraphy. Using the new Bixby button, you can easily access to several Samsung native apps and phone features with your voice, and Bixby’s image recognition technology helps you search, shop and get details about nearby places.
The two smartphones are powered by the industry’s first 10nm octa-core processor and has 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB ROM and a microSD card slot supporting up to 256GB for powerful performance and smooth multi-tasking. Apart from these, other features of both phones also include Fast Charging on wired and wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, NFC, fingerprint scanner and IP68 water and dust resistance. The Galaxy S8 is powered by a 3000mAh rechargeable battery, and the Galaxy S8+ has 3500mAh battery.
