The WG-70 is a budget-friendly, waterproof digital camera that measures 4.8 x 1.2 x 2.4 inches and weighs 1.48 pounds. As shown in the images, the camera delivers a tough and rugged design. The armor-like housing provides water. Dust, crush and freeze protection, so it withstands drops from up to 1.6 meters and up to 100kg crushes, and you can capture incredible underwater scenes at a depth of up to 14 meters for up to 2 hours. The freezeproof design ensures it can operate down to temperatures of -10 degrees below zero.
The compact waterproof camera comes equipped with a 16MP 1/2.3″ back-illuminated CMOS sensor to provide high-quality stills and 1080p@30fps video recording. With a sensitivity range of ISO 125-6400 and back-illuminated design, it reduces noise in low light conditions, and Handheld Night Snap mode allows it to automatically blend several images into a single composite image for enhanced clarity in low light.
Furthermore, Ricoh WG-70 also features a 5x optical zoom lens covers a 28-140mm equivalent range with a series of aspherical elements to suit various subject types with minimized distortion.
