The Pineapple Bike is a beautifully-designed and well-crafted electric bike that fits anyone up to 6’5″ (195cm). The ebike weighs 50 lbs (22kg) and supports riders up to 300 lbs (136kg). As we can see from the images, similar with the urban utility ebike, Pineapple electric bike also features a vintage bike design from the 1970s, but it shows off a more lightweight design. Moreover, its frame is made of high quality steel and is fully powder-coated in a thick layer of scratch resistant thermoset polymer for a durable construction.
The Pineapple electric bike comes equipped with a 250 watt electric hub drive motor that’s able to provide you a comfortable cruising speeds of between 15-17mph. Its removable 36V 9Ah lithium-ion battery allows for a 16-mile riding range, and the battery can be fully charged under 4 hours. Meanwhile, its Petal Assist mode extends the range past 16 miles.
Furthermore, the ebike features two 20″ wheels with 4.25″ fat tires so you can ride it on various terrains from road to beach. An integrated LCD screen displays the status of the ebike and allows you to choose your power options. In addition, a sturdy cargo rack is designed to keep your items in place.
The Pineapple electric bike has been available for preorder on Indiegogo (flexible crowdfunding goal). You can pledge $950 to own the ebike. It will be shipped in July this year.
