In addition to Surface Studio, Microsoft also announced new Surface Book i7 at yesterday’s event. The upgraded ultimate laptop delivers up to 16-hour battery life, and integrated GeForce GTX 965M GPU provides more powerful graphic performance.
Appearance design
Compared with original Surface Book, the appearance of new Surface Book i7 hasn’t changed. The ultra slim magnesium body delivers a durable and lightweight construction along with minimalistic and modern aesthetic style, and its unique 360-degree hinge deliver two work modes and free adjustment of viewing angle. Moreover, the detachable display turns your Surface Book into a Windows 10 tablet with 10-point multi touch.
Performance of the Surface Book
The new Surface Book i7 runs Windows 10 Pro. It’s powered by 6th Generation Intel Skylake Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M 2GB GPU in order to give you enhanced speed and graphics performance for professional-grade software.
The ultimate laptop has a 13.5″ PixelSense display with 3000 x 2000 resolution (267 ppi) and 10-point multi touch, and using included Surface Pen with 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, you can freely use your Surface Book to paint, draw and write in a natural way.
Furthermore, the new Surface Book i7 delivers up to 16 hours of battery life, and it also comes equipped with 8GB/16GB RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB SSD, 5MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear autofocus camera, stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium and etc. Apart from these, its interfaces include two USB 3.0 ports, SD card reader, Mini DisplayPort, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack and more.
