In addition to Fitbit Surge, Fitbit also announced two new fitness trackers including Fitbit Charge and Charge HR. If you want to monitor your heart rate, apparently the latter should be a more suitable option.

The Charge HR is a versatile Bluetooth-enabled fitness tracker that comes in three sizes. The smart device sports a stylish, sports style design and its flexible, durable elastomer material provides a comfortable wearing experience. The fitness tracker comes equipped with an integrated PurePulse heart rate monitor, so the Charge HR is able to track all-day activity including heart rate, sleep, steps, distance, calories burned, floors climbed and active minutes, and its exercise mode can record workouts and show you real-time exercise stats and summaries on Fitbit dashboard, and custom app lets you check detailed tracking data on your connected smartphone. Moreover, the OLED display of the fitness tracker displays incoming call notifications and its rechargeable battery offers up to 5 days of use between charges.
