The LightMode is a pretty cool creative light kit series that works with any helmet including full face, modular, half helmet, bicycle helmet and more. The LED light kit series comes in two models including Electron S kit and Proton S kit.
The Electron S Kit comes with 50cm EL tape and 3 meter EL wire while the Proton S kit contains 2 meter EL wires. Using included glue and PVC mounting stickers, you can easily attach the electroluminescent light wires onto your helmet. Meanwhile, included 3-meter design string allows you to effortlessly create various unique glowing patterns on your helmet, showing off your one-of-a-kind personalized style.
Moreover, the helmet light kit comes with a compact controller that can be mounted on your helmet with a curved mount for easy to switch between different brightness levels. The controller and mount feature aerodynamic design for perfect fit to the contour of your streamlined helmet.
In addition, the helmet light kit is water resistant and powered by a rechargeable battery that can be recharged using included USB charging cable.
The crowdfunding campaign for LightMode kits is on ongoing on Kickstarter. You can pledge $149 CAD (approx US$110) to preorder Electron S kit or Proton S kit. Both kits will be shipped in May 2017.
