DJI has unveiled DJI Mavic Air 2, its latest 4K camera drone. With a 1/2-inch CMOS senor, the drone is capable of bringing you more amazing aerial videos and photos.
Compared with original Mavic Air, the successor delivers a bigger design, which measures 7.4×3.8×3.3 inches and weighs 20.1 oz. And it looks more like DJI Mavic 2 Zoom. With a foldable design, the drone easily fits in a bag for portability.
The camera drone comes equipped with a 1/2-inch CMOS sensor for 4K photos and 4K/60fps videos, and its 3-axis gimbal provides super stable recording.
Using SmartPhoto feature, the Mavic Air 2 intelligently delivers optimal results based on different scenes. Its HDR panorama mode features a higher dynamic range for more vivid colors and details.
Furthermore, it supports 8K hyperlapse. Using QuickShots, the 4K camera drone plans and flies a complicated aerial route, which helps you easily create cinematic videos.
The Mavic Air 2 also features FocusTrack that delivers 3 intelligent tracking modes including Active Track 3.0, Spotlight 2.0, and Point of Interest 3.0, which helps you tell awesome stories by various combinations of subjects and scenes.
Moreover, the Mavic Air 2 delivers an improved flight time of up to 34 minutes, its 3-direction obstacle detection provides enhanced safety during flight.
With OcuSync 2.0, it features a video transmission distance of up to 6.2mi / 10 km with 1080p livestream from the drone’s camera. The 2.4/5.8GHz dual frequency communication allows for stable video transmission with improved anti-interference ability.
