Not every DSLR camera features built-in WiFi, so if you want to add the feature to your camera, the CASE Remote Air smart camera controller may be a nice solution. Cool? Let’s keep checking.
The CASE Remote Air is an advanced and easy-to-use camera remote controller that works with lots of Nikon and Canon DSLR cameras. The smart camera controller measures 2.4 X 1.5 x 0.4 inches, weighs 50g, and as we can see from the images, it shows off a compact and low-profile appearance which allows you to easily attach it onto the hot shoe of your DSLR and connect with the camera using an included cable.
Using built-in WiFi connectivity, the remote controller wirelessly communicates with your smartphone or tablet, so you can live-view your photos directly from your iPad, iPhone or Android devices, and in addition to touch focus, full screen live-view and assistive scaling, its custom companion app also allows you to set parameters on your mobile device including aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, AF, drive/shooting mode, metering mode, and etc. You can also adjust bulb and video control remotely.
Furthermore, using the WiFi camera controller is designed to achieve better time-lapse, HDR and focus-stacking, and you can also easily transmit photos and videos to your smartphone or tablet, sharing them with your friends and family.
The CASE Remote Air has been available for preorder on Indiegogo. You can pledge $79 to preorder the smart remote controller. It will be shipped in October this year.
