BlackBerry has unveiled BlackBerry Motion, its latest Android smartphone, and it has been available for preorder on Amazon. Want to learn more about the phone? Let’s keep checking.
BlackBerry Motion is a high-performance mid-range smartphone that measures 6.1 x 0.3 x 3 inches and weighs 10.6 ounces. As we can see from the images, the Android phone features an ultra-slim form factor and ultra-narrow bezel that deliver a contemporary design language to match modern lifestyle, and the metallic camera ring and texturized back add more matching detailing to the handset. Meanwhile, BlackBerry Motion sports an IP67 rating that protects against spills, splashes and dust.
BlackBerry Motion is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 2.0GHz octa-core processor and comes equipped with 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM and a microSD card slot supporting up to 256GB, so it’s powerful enough to deal with multitasking, various apps, games and ever-increasing photos & videos.
Furthermore, the smartphone has a 5.5″ full HD screen with a premium, nano-diamond anti-scratch display coating, but unlike BlackBerry KEYone, the Motion has no physical keyboard. A 12MP auto-focus camera with wide-aperture lens and dual-tone flash is arranged on the back for capturing clear and vivid photos and videos, and its 8MP front-facing camera also features LCD flash and 84-degree wide angle lens.
Using secure locker mode, BlackBerry Motion protects your photos, messages and documents, and its privacy shade prevents unwanted screen viewing, while built-in fingerprint sensor provides secure access. In addition, its 3000mAh rechargeable battery offers over 32 hours of battery life on a single charge, and it supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and boost mode for faster charging.
BlackBerry Motion has been available for preorder for $449.99 USD. If you’re interested, jump to Amazon for its more details.
