The awesome Death Star steel fire pit was a high school welding project that got auctioned, then the winner of the auction gave it to alphacodemonkey as a gift. Now the receiver has unveiled the pretty cool steel fire pit shaped as Death Star via Reddit. The steel log burner was built based on a propane tank and cut up with a hand plasma cutter, panted with a high temp engine black paint. Finally, using stainless steel pieces, the maker behind the project added more exquisite detailing to the Death Star fire pit.
