AT&T announced Modio Smartcase, an innovative battery case series at CES 2015. Using it you can easily add 4G LTE connectivity to your WiFi-only iPad Air or iPad mini. Pretty cool? Let’s go on checking.
The Modio Smartcase is a 4G LTE-enabled protective case series that comes in multiple models for iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 3/2 and original iPad mini. As shown in the images, the iPad case sports a low-profile, folio design, and built-in iPad stand holds your device in landscape mode for handsfree viewing. Most importantly, the iPad case features built-in LTE module that allows to add 4G LTE connectivity to your WiFi-only iPad. Moreover, built-in 4600mAh backup battery provides extra battery life for your tablet, and the battery case also features a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB, so you can also use it to expand the storage capacity of your iPad. Apart from that, it also protects your iPad from bumps and scratches.
