Apple Announced 10.5″ iPad Pro at WWDC 2017

Apple announced 10.5″ iPad Pro at WWDC 2017 yesterday as the successor to 9.7″ iPad Pro. Apparently Apple is trying to show us a definite and clear iPad line with different sizes and performance. The new iPad Pro has been available for preorder, but 9.7″ iPad Pro has been removed from Apple website.

Apple 10.5-Inch iPad Pro

The new iPad Pro measures 6.8 x 9.8 x 0.24 inches (174.1 x 250.6 x 6.1mm) and weighs 1.03 pounds (469 grams, 1.05 pounds/477 grams for WiFi with Cellular model). The iPad Pro is a bit bigger than old 9.7″ iPad Pro, but it features a slimmer form factor, so you still can easily put it in your bag for portability and it maintains a comfortable grip.

Compared with 9.7″ iPad Pro’s A9X chip, 10.5″ iPad Pro shows off a more powerful A10X Fusion chip with 64-bit architecture embedded M10 coprocessor, so it delivers higher performance to deal with various tasks, and you can choose between three capacity sizes including 64GB, 256GB and 512GB.

Furthermore, the iPad Pro has a 12MP rear autofocus camera that features f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilization, quad-LED True Tone flash, noise reduction, 4K video recording and more. Its 7MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture also supports 1080p HD video recording.
