What do you want from the classic question black from the universe ofseries? Coins, super mushrooms, fire flowers or light? Need light? The question block should be able to catch your eyes.
This is an interactive 8-bit Question Blockkit handmade by Bryan Duxbury. As we can see from the images, the lamp kit contains a pile of components including 6 yellow acrylic laser-cut exterior pieces, 4 white acrylic laser-cut interior pieces, a number of black “shadow” elements for the interior, a custom printed circuit board, an 8-ohm speaker and more. When all the pieces have been assembled together, you will get a Super Mario Question Block shaped that measures 6 x 6 x 6 inches. Just merely punching the bottom of the lamp, you can turn on or off the along with the classic coin noise from the original Question Block in Mushroom Kingdom. After the break, check out the demo video.
The designer of the lamp kit has released the detailed making process on instructables, while the kit of Super Mario Question Block lamp is available for $54.99 USD on Etsy. If you’re interested, jump to instructables for more details.
