Apple announced their all-new iPad Pro at their special event this week. At the same time, they also unveiled two dedicatedly designed accessories including Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil which can turn your iPad Pro into a productivity beast.
The Smart Keyboard is a premium keyboard case for iPad Pro that delivers us a sleek, low-profile and ultra-thin design. The iPad Pro keyboard case measures only 3.2mm thin, but it features a durable three-layer construction. The top layer is made of polyurethane and the bottom layer is a soft microfiber lining, which protects your iPad Pro when the folio case is folded. The mid layer is composed of conductive fabric material that allows the wireless keyboard connects with your iPad Pro via the Smart Connector.
The wireless keyboard features 64 seamless keys coated in a water- and stain-resistant finish, and the top layer is crafted from a sheet of highly durable custom-woven fabric, which provides you comfortable and accurate typing experience on the ultra-thin keys. And the keyboard case works as an iPad stand for handsfree viewing.
Apple Pencil is also a specially designed stylus for iPad Pro. As we can see from the images, the digital pen boasts a minimal and elegant design and the right size lets you comfortably hold it in your hand. The stylus features a sharp pen point so you can easily view what you’re writing or drawing, and it provides lightning-fast responsiveness.
Most importantly, Apple Pencil features intricate and accurate pressure sensors that precisely detect how hard the tip of Apple Pencil is being pressed down in order to bring you natural handwriting and drawing, and two tilt sensors accurately calculate the exact orientation and angle of your hand so you can create shading effects just like using a normal pencil.
In addition, built-in rechargeable battery offers up to 12 hours of usage between charge. And integrated Lightning connector lets you charge the stylus with ease.
