The Galaxy Fold is an innovative, high-performance smartphone that runs Android 9.0 OS. As its name implies, the phone overturns the traditional smartphone form factor with a unique horizontally foldable design, and it provides a large inner screen while maintaining a compact and slim body to fit in your pocket.
The foldable smartphone revolutionarily adopts a flexible 7.3-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED display. Using a new polymer layer, the display is 50% thinner than the typical smartphone display. The new hinge mechanism ensures you can smoothly open it and shows you the advanced flexible display. Using the large internal display, Galaxy Fold gives you a better mobile entertaining experience and enhanced mobile productivity.
Furthermore, Galaxy Fold also comes equipped with a 4.6″ HD+ Super AMOLED cover display. When closed, it works well as a regular smartphone, and App Continuity feature allows the running app to automatically show between the cover screen and the internal screen as you close or open your Galaxy Fold.
Moreover, Galaxy Fold features a flexible and powerful camera system that consists of 6 lenses. The cover camera is a 10MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The rear triple camera delivers a 16MP ultra wide camera with f/2.2, a 12MP wide-angle camera with Dual Pixel AF, OIS and f/1.5/f/2.4, and 12MP telephoto camera with PDAF, OIS, f/2.4 and 2X optical zoom, while a dual camera system is arranged above the internal screen, which consists of a 10MP selfie camera and a 8MP RGB depth camera.
Samsung Galaxy Fold is powered by a 7nm 64-bit Octa-core processor and comes equipped with 12GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 512GB internal storage. In addition, it has 4380mAh rechargeable battery. Using Wireless PowerShare, it’s capable of charging itself and a second device simultaneously.
