No doubt, iCADE mentioned by ThinkGeek last year was a impressive April Fool joke. Now the iPad arcade cabinet iCade will soon become impressive gadget.
According to ThinkGeek, at present the iPad-exclusive arcade cabinet is in production, and will be available in Spring this year. And because of ION and Atari join, iCade can support many classical arcade games at the beginning, while the friendly API will let game developer add iCade support to almost any game. As we can see from the image, the overall design of the arcade cabinet doesn’t change, but two buttons have increased to incredible six. All you need to do is to insert your iPad into Bluetooth-enabled iCade, and start experiencing real arcade games.
