Garmin has released VIRB Ultra 30, its first 4K action camera. Using its 4K video recording, voice control and data overlays, the mini camera brings your outdoor video recording to a new level.
The VIRB Ultra 30 is a high-performance and easy-to-control action camera that measures 2.3 x 1.78 x 1.2 inches and weighs 3.1 oz. As shown in the images, the action camera sports an ultra compact, minimal and rugged design, and using included mounts, mount adapters, screws, extension arms and sticker, you can freely use the action camera to capture all great moments during any adventure, you even can take it under water up to 40 meters with an included waterproof case.
The VIRB Ultra 30 action camera has the ability to capture up to 12MP stills and record up to 4K videos at 30fps. It also supports burst frames at up to 60fps, and built-in 3-axis image stabilization helps capture smooth and steady video no matter the terrain, while high-sensitivity microphone captures clear audio.
The 4K action camera comes equipped with a 1.75″ touchscreen display that provides handy control and lets you see what’s being recorded. In addition, built-in sensors and GPS are designed to capture G-Metrix data including speed, elevation and distance, and it also works with other Garmin devices such as fÄ“nix Chronos GPS smartwatch. In addition, the action camera also supports live streaming, and it wirelessly connects with your smartphone for sharing photos and videos with others.
