Garmin has released Forerunner 225, their first GPS running watch capable of measuring your heart rate, and built-in activity tracker tracks your activities. Nice idea? Let’s keep going.
The Forerunner 225 is a versatile GPS running watch that measures 11.3 x 1.9 x 0.6 inches and weights 1.9 oz. Garmin has integrated an optical sensor in its running watch for the first time. Using the heart rate technology, the Forerunner 225 is able to monitor your heart rate and intuitively show you your heart rate zone and beats per minute in real time on its 1 inch diameter display. Furthermore, its built-in GPS and accelerometer can calculate your distance and pace, even you’re running on an indoor track or treadmill, and the running watch also serves as an activity tracker that can count your steps and calories burned every day. In addition, its rechargeable battery lasts up to 10 hours in GPS mode or up to 4 weeks in watch mode.
The Forerunner 225 GPS running watch with heart rate monitor will set you back $300 USD. If you’re interested, jump to Garmin for more detailed description. Additionally, if you need other options, you may like to check Polar M400 GPS watch and more by tapping following tags.
