Using an integrated retinal projector, Aura ultraportable laptop delivers a futuristic design with no screen. Cool? Let’s keep checking.
Vince Wang, an American industrial designer came up the pretty cool concept ultraportable laptop named Aura. Unlike any traditional laptop, the Aura features a no-screen design, so it looks like just a compact keyboard for ultra portability. Meanwhile, the slim metallic casing and sleek detailing deliver minimalistic aesthetics.
The ultra compact laptop features integrated retinal projector that projects invisible infrared dots directly into user’s retinas. By finding eye details and reflection patterns, the user’s eye positions are precisely calculated, giving perfect projections within the viewing angle.
Furthermore, the metallic bar can be rolled to turn on or off the device. The no physical key design delivers a seamless surface for easy interact, and built-in haptic sensor adds a sense of touch by slight vibrations. Moreover, hidden secondary keys can be activated by the number, ‘123’ button or the symbols “#+=” button. Using a magnetic inductive charging cable, the Aura can be charged with ease.
