Built-in WiFi and Bluetooth modules allow it to stream music from your local devices or music apps like Amazon Music, Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, TuneIn and more. By connecting multiple Echo units you can also form a more powerful home speaker system.
More importantly, same as other units from Echo series, the all-new Echo also features Amazon Alexa cloud-based voice service, so you can use your voice to interact with the smart speaker like making calls, setting alarms, asking questions, checking calendar, traffic, weather and news, manage shopping lists. Furthermore, you can use it to control other Alexa compatible smart devices in your house such as the smart surge protector, the smart sprinkler controller, and more.
