Microsoft has announced Xbox One S, a mini version of Xbox One. In addition to its slim body, the game console has also gotten multiple improvements based on Xbox One, and its wireless game controller supports Bluetooth technology.
Xbox One S is 40% smaller than original Xbox One plus the white body with a few black accents in order to deliver minimal and elegant aesthetic style which allows it to proudly work with your HDTV, and its mechanical power button lets you more comfortably turn it on or off.
Don’t be fooled by its size. Xbox One S will deliver same performance as Xbox One, and the game console supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) that delivers more vivid and detailed images. Meanwhile, up to 2TB storage capacity allows you to store more games in your console, and Xbox One S streams 4K video on Netflix and Amazon and you can use it to watch UHD Blu-Ray movies in 4K ultra HD. Due to reducing its size, Xbox One S has no Kinect port, but using a free Xbox Kinect adapter, the game console still works with Kinect.
The Xbox One S wireless game controller is compatible with Xbox One, Xbox One S and Windows 10, and the wireless controller uses Bluetooth technology to wirelessly connect with your device, meaning that you can easily pair it with your Bluetooth-enabled PC, tablet or smartphone without needing a wireless adapter.
The Xbox One S with 2TB storage will set you back $399.99 USD, and the wireless controller is priced at $59.99 USD. The fame console and Bluetooth controller have been available for preorder. If you’re interested, jump to Amazon (Xbox One S controller) for their more details.
