Valve’s latest Portal 2 has got a new price tag: $29.99, while LEGO artist Paul has released his latest workable LEGO Portal Sentry Turret.
This is a sentry turret from the well-received computer game Portal series, but as we can see from the images, the replica is constructed of LEGO bricks, and features all the details from the original one in the scenes of the game. Most importantly, in addition to the highly detailed appearance, Paul applied more interactive contents to the LEGO Portal Turret like the real turret voice and reaction to sounds, and it even comes with a proximity sensor and a tilt sensor for more interaction.
Unfortunately, the limited internal space is not enough for a built-in firing mechanism, so you will see an external missile launcher controlled by the Portal turret. Of course, it can also see you, and launch the powerful missiles. After the break, check out the demo video of the workable LEGO Portal Sentry Turret.
Additionally, if you need more Portal themed gadgets, you might like to check ATLAS and P-Body LEGO figures and the custom Portal 2 action figures.
