Unlike all fitness trackers on the marker, Whipper professionally focuses on your climbing, and built-in smart coach helps you improve your technique and endurance. Cool? Let’s keep going.
The Whipper is the world’s first and only climbing performance and fitness tracker. As shown in the images, the smart tracker sports a low-profile and ultra portable design, and using its silicone outer clip, it can be easily attached to your belt for tracking your climbing both indoor as well as outside.
The fitness tracker comes equipped with Bosch 6-axis motion sensor with accelerometer and gyroscope and Bosch high accuracy altimeter with thermistor, and its proprietary algorithms detect your climbing moves in order to track the stats about your performance during climbing including vertical feet, incline, calories burned, pace, effort and more. Meanwhile, all data will be synced to your smartphone, and its custom app gives you feedback on your skills, technique and movement for improving your climbing technique and endurance.
Furthermore, using the social feed of Whipper app, you can easily invite friends to go climbing, compare your climb with your trad partner, plan full trips and sync data with your team. The Bluetooth tracker is powered by a 100mAh rechargeable battery that offers 1-2 weeks of battery life, and its built-in 2MB of internal storage can store up to 3 days outdoor data and 7 days indoor data before syncing with smartphone.
The Whipper has been available for preorder on Indiegogo. You can pledge $99 to preorder the climbing performance and fitness tracker. It will be shipped in November 2016. BTW, also don’t miss Vivofit 3 fitness tracker and more related cool stuff by following tags.
