The My Passport SSD is a powerful and durable solid disk drive that measures 3.5 x 1.8 x 0.39 inches (90 x 45 x 10mm). As we can see from the images, the solid state drive shows off an ultra portable and slim form factor. The lighter-sized design allows you to effortlessly slide the external storage device into your pocket. Meanwhile, the silver-and-black casing is not only strong enough to withstand a drop of up to 6.5 feet (1.98 meters), but also delivers a charming modern style to match the design aesthetics of your mobile devices.
The portable SSD comes in three storage capacity options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, so it’s capable of storing various digital files, and its WD Backup software enables it to automatically back up high-capacity files to your drive or Dropbox cloud service account.
Furthermore, the portable solid state drive is compatible with USB-C and USB-A ports, so it’s able to transmit data with speeds up to 512MB/s using USB-C, and it supports USB 3.0 ports. Moreover, built-in 256-bit AES hardware encryption with WD security software keeps your files secure.
