Washwow portable washing machine is designed to fit in your bag so you can use it to wash your clothes wherever you’re. Like the feature? Let’s keep checking.
The Washwow is a practical portable electronic clothes-washing device that measures 102 x 72 x 26mm. As we can see from the images, the washing machine sports an ultra compact and minimal appearance design, and the soap-sized form factor allows you to put it in your bag for any trip.
Unlike another compact washing machine using generated cavitation bubbles, the Washwow uses the reactive oxygen species generated by electrolysis of water to decompose the dirt on the clothes. Its interior is coated with noble metal which can create positive and negative electrodes. In addition to decomposing the organic dirt into water, generated hypochlorous acid has antibacterial effect to eliminate bacteria and dust mites on your clothes.
Furthermore, using alkaline ionic at the cathode end, the washing device creates an environment like having detergent during water electrolysis so it doesn’t need any detergents. There is acid iron on the anode end for sterilization and deodorization. All you need to do is just place the portable washing machine in a water container that holds your clothes, and switch the device on. After 20-30 minutes, your clothes will be fresh and clean.
The crowdfunding campaign for Washwow is ongoing on Kickstarter. You can pledge HK$536 (approx US$69) to preorder the portable washing machine. It will be shipped in June this year (estimated).
