Appearance design of the Vue
The Vue is a pair of innovative and advanced smart glasses that comes in two styles of frames: Classic and Trendy. Both models show off a minimal and sleek design. You can choose the appropriate model based on the type of your face and your preference. In addition to two frame styles, the Vue also comes in three optional colors including black, white and brown, and five optional textures maximize its personalized feature.
As a pair of glasses, the Vue is available in multiple types of lenses including prescription (including progressive), photochromatic transitioning, and prescription polarized lenses along with different lens colors, so it fits for various wearers.
Smart features
In addition to those basic functions of glasses like improving your vision and protecting your eyes, the Vue smart glasses also deliver many advanced features.
Using built-in activity tracker, the Vue tracks your steps, calories burned, and distance. If you sit for too long, the smart glasses will remind you that it’s time to stand for a moment.
Built-in Bluetooth technology allows it to wirelessly connect with your smartphone. Using integrated bone conduction audio, the smart glasses let you effortlessly make or answer handsfree calls, and you can get notified about incoming texts and emails with subtle LED.
The bone conduction speakers also stream your favorite music from your smartphone, and open ear design allows you to hear traffic and the world around you for safety. If you’re looking down or outside the window for long periods of time during driving, the smart glasses will send you audio and LED notifications that help you to avoid accidents.
The smart glasses has no button. Just using simple gestures, you can effortlessly control your Vue, and you can use its companion app to customize actions with different gestures.
The smart glasses are powered by built-in 90mAh rechargeable battery that offers 2-3 days standby time and 5-hour talk time. Using a custom charging case, the standby time extends to 7 days.
Price and shipment date
The team of Vue is raising fund via Kickstarter. Pledging $179 will let you own the smart glasses. All models of Vue will be shipped in July 2017.
