Exterior design
The Volkswagen I.D. Buzz concept vehicle made its debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. As we can see from the images, the I.D. Buzz is an eye-catching Microbus undoubtedly inspired by original VW Bus, but the legendary design DNA has been perfectly combined with futuristic and functional aesthetics, which may be able to bring the legend to a new level in the near future.
Performance
The I.D. Buzz is an all-electric vehicle with all-wheel drive and two electric motors delivering a total output of 369 horsepower, so it has the ability to challenge various terrains and deliver a driving range of 270 miles, and it can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in about 5 seconds.
The electric car’s 111 kWh battery can be charged to 80 percent of its capacity in 30 minutes via a Combined Charging System or an inductive charging interface.
In addition to traditional manual mode, the electric car features a fully autonomous driving mode that bring you a more free driving experience during any road trip.
Interior design
Using its MEB underpinnings, the electric car delivers an ample interior space that fits for two families for a vacation trip.
Furthermore, its touch-sensitive steering wheel can retract into the dashpad in parking mode, and the driver’s seat can be turned 180 degrees to face others in the car while a flexible center console with table display and Beats Bluetooth speaker system allows for a small family meeting and entertainment. Apart from these, its Connected Community is able to interconnect humans, cars and the environment by a specific user ID.
Availability
