The TYPI is an innovative and well-designed mechanical keyboard that measures 11.89 x 9.6 x 1.97 inches. As we can see from the images, the keyboard looks like a combination of two compact keyboards, so it delivers a unique square-shaped form factor in order to avoid taking too much horizontal space which full-size keyboard usually does. Meanwhile, the steel keyseitch plate and ABS base deliver a solid construction.

The mechanical keyboard comes equipped with high quality, gold plated Cherry MX mechanical switches rated at 50 million cycles, and four optional switch types allow it to provide an optimal typing experience for different users. Furthermore, some of the keys have been rearranged to maximize the typing comfort including the direction keys on the right, two backspace keys, the Windows key above Caps Lock, and two blind-spot key caps R and D allow gamers to easily switch and locate operation. N-key rollover ensures your every keypress can be correctly registered.

The upper part of the keyboard layout delivers function keys and matrix -arranged F function zone for enhanced productivity, and calculator can be initiated with a single press. Moreover, its LED backlight features 5 different brightness levels for a comfortable typing experience in low light conditions. In addition, the TYPI is available in two models: wired model and wireless model. The wireless mechanical keyboard also provides a wired mode to work with your computer with no Bluetooth.

The team behind TYPI is raising fund for the product on Kickstarter. We can pledge $149/$159 to preorder the wired or wireless mechanical keyboard. Both models will be shipped in February 2019.
