We’re actually impressed by those virtual light cycles in the Grid from Tron Legacy. Now LEGO artist wants to treat these futuristic cycles with LEGO bricks. Curious? Let’s go on for the Light Cycle LEGO set.
This is a pretty cool LEGO project based on Disney’s sci-fi film Tron: Legacy. As we can see from the images, the finished LEGO creation delivers us a mini light cycle, and using various pieces, it faithfully replicates all iconic details from the original vehicle including two symbolic oversized wheels with two light cycles, a console in front of the user, two handle bars, and more.
Moreover, an included base recreates the light effect on the Grid caused by Light Cycle with trans-blue LEGO pieces, and a power stream can be placed behind the Light Cycle, which makes it look like be hurtling on the futuristic road.
In addition, the LEGO set comes with a detailed Sam Flynn minifigure in a Tron suit with helmet, and the clear blue face shield and disc on the back add more details to the minifigure.
The Tron Legacy Light Cycle LEGO set has earned 929 supporters, and there are 356 days left to the campaign’s deadline. If you want it to become reality, head to LEGO Ideas and support the project. BTW, also don’t miss the Lovelace & Babbage LEGO set and more related cool stuff by following tags.
