Pebble has released Pebble 2 and Time 2, its latest two smartwatches. Need a decent way to charge the smart watches? The updated TimeDock charging station should be a nice solution.
The TimeDock is a well-crafted and practical charging station that’s compatible with Pebble 2, Pebble Time/ Time 2, Pebble Time Round and Pebble Time Steel. Compared with original TimeDock, the charging dock doesn’t have too many changes on its appearance, which delivers a minimalistic and elegant design in order to match with the look of your Pebble, but the solid aluminum body has received cosmetic and functional upgrades including CNC chamfering which gives the charging dock a consistent appearance and stronger edges.
The anodized aluminum charging station features an updated charging module connector in order to work with the whole family of Pebble Time smartwatches, and its rare-earth neodymium magnets hold your Pebble securely against the aluminum dock for charging. Moreover, integrated micro suction base steadily keeps the charging dock on your desk or nightstand.
The crowdfunding campaign for the updated TimeDock is going on Kickstarter. You can pledge $40 to preorder the charging dock for Pebble 2 and Time 2. It will be shipped in August this year.
