Unlike other quadcopters, the flying mini drone brings you first person view with a custom app. Want to experience the feeling in the air? ELF nano drone will help you achieve it.
The ELF is an innovative, advanced virtual reality integrated flying drone that measures 14 x 14 x 3.5 cm and weights 98 grams. As shown in the image, the flying drone shows off an ultra portable design, and its most components are 3D printed for lightweight and durable construction. Moreover, the nano drone comes equipped with an onboard 720p HD video camera that can capture awesome aerial photos or videos and transmit real-time signal to your smartphone. Most importantly, the ELF works with VR glasses, and its VRdrone app converts the image streamed by your ELF into side-by-side format in order that you can enjoy immersive real-time 3D image via your VR glasses. In addition, the flying drone is completely open source for hardware and software, so you can hack, reprogram or upgrade your ELF by yourself.
The crowdfunding campaign for ELF is in progress. You can pledge $65 to preorder the app-enabled mini drone. Sounds cool? Head to Indiegogo official site for further introduction.
