The Concept Tesla Drone Boasts Vertical and Horizontal Flying Modes

We have no idea whether Musk has any plan to move into flying drone area, but talented designer has come up with a concept Tesla drone. With vertical and horizontal flying modes, the drone brings you more flexible flying experience.

The Concept Tesla Drone

Fraser Leid, a British designer came up with the pretty cool and versatile concept flying drone. Unlike regular quadcopters on the market, Tesla drone shows off two big independent propellers that are connected with its main body with camera via hinged arms, so the two propellers can be manipulated into both vertical and horizontal positions. The vertical mode allows the drone to move slowly and steadily for slow, wide-angled panoramic videos, while the horizontal mode makes the Tesla drone nimble, quick, and also steadying the camera.

Moreover, Tesla drone incorporates twin Carbon GlideLite blades for optimal lift and propulsion in any given scenario, and its 10,000mAh Li-ion Tesla Powercell offers up to 60 minutes of flight time on a 20-minute full charge. In addition, its wide-angle 30MP camera supports 4K video recording, and its included MagDock not only creates an eye-catching display for the craft, but also wirelessly charges the Tesla drone.
