Compared with official LEGO 21103 DeLorean LEGO set, I have a preference for the minimal LEGO DeLorean because it can be loaded in the Doc Brown’s 1984 GMC Value Van. Of course, the minimal van is also built with LEGO bricks.
Kyler Wilson, a talented LEGO artist built the two awesome minimalistic LEGO creations based on two vehicles in Back to the Future film series, including DeLorean time machine and Doc Brown’s van. As we can see from the images, the LEGO DeLorean shows off a pretty cool minimalistic design, and the skillful artist successfully utilized small amounts of LEGO pieces to accurately restore many symbolic details of the time machine. It even delivers us four iconic wheels folded providing thrust.
The LEGO GMC value van also features minimalistic design and the iconic text on the sides clearly shows us the van belongs to Doc Brown. No doubt, as the dedicated transportation for the time machine, the minimal van can accommodate the LEGO DeLorean, and its specially designed door lets you drive the DeLorean in with ease.
