Can you imagine one of the most famous car engine can be built with paper? Can’t? Let’s keep going for the awesome working paper mini V8 engine.
Aliaksei Zholner, a talented engineer from Belarus created the pretty V8 engine using paper. The tiny V8 engine measures only 32 x 24 x 27mm, and its shafts are even just 1mm in diameter. The mini V8 engine not only fully replicates the classic look from its original design, but also shows off a fully workable internal mechanism.
More importantly, the V8 model is almost completely made of paper except some scotch tape on valves to eliminate friction. You can imagine how difficult to maintain the tiny engine’s structure when all its paper pistons are running, and the engine also features a custom throttle that can be used to control the speed of the paper engine. Moreover, unlike its original design, the paper V8 engine runs on compressed air. After the break, check out the following videos about the workable paper V8 engine.
