We have not idea whether Apple will have any plan to release a flip phone, but Martin Hajek has released the world’s first concept flip iPhone for catering to Japanese market.
Martin Hajek, a famous Netherlandish 3D designer created the awesome flip phone based on Apple’s iPhone 6. Martin designed the flip phone because in Japan there are lots of flip phones and they are still very popular. If Apple wants to gain favor among these users, an iPhone-based flip phone may be a nice idea.
The flip iPhone shows off the legendary design of iPhone 6/6 Plus. Those classic details haven’t been changed including smooth edging, antenna bands, three classic color schemes and more. However, as a flip phone, the design concept features a functional foldable cover that delivers you a small front-facing screen displaying caller ID, notifications and other info. When you open the cover, the flip iPhone shows off two main screens that provide you a more comfortable typing and viewing experience.
Apart from that, the concept iPhone has two home buttons, one on the foldable cover, and the inner one features integrated Touch ID. After the break, check out the images about the design concept. BTW, also don’t miss Martin’s Apple styled Star Trek Phaser and more cool stuff by following tags.
