SteelSeries has released its latest Bluetooth headphones: Siberia 840. Using its large drives and virtual 7.1 surround sound, the wireless headset lets you fully immersed in your favorite video games and movies.
The Siberia 840 is a pair of premium and powerful wireless headphones. As we can see from the images, the headphones follow the design of its predecessor Siberia 800, the sharp edges, smooth surface and matte finish bring much charming modern aesthetics to the headphones, and its brushed aluminum earbud covers deliver more modern design elements. Meanwhile, memory foam earcups and padded, adjustable headband let you wear it for a long gaming session.
The Bluetooth headphones come equipped with two 40mm neodymium drivers plus three different types of Dolby technologies in order to deliver incredible virtual 7.1 surround sound, and Siberia 840 uses continuous frequency-hopping technology that prevents lag between your game and the headset.
The headset also features SteelSeries Engine 3, so in addition to its on-ear control, you can also personalize your audio with equalizer settings on your smartphone. Moreover, the Bluetooth headphones also has an included transmitter box. Using an integrated large OLED display, the transmitter shows all of your settings and headphones’ status, and you can use it to adjust volumes, navigate settings and adjust the audio level balance between your game and communication from your team. In addition, Siberia 840 comes with two hot-swappable batteries. Each one offers 20 hours of audio playback.
