All components have been put in the Spinbox cardboard box, which allow you to build a DIY portable turntable by yourself. Cool? Let’s continue checking.
The Spinbox is an innovative DIY portable turntable that measures 327 x 270 x 95mm and weighs approx 1200g. As shown in the images, the portable turntable features a cardboard box that contains all components for the turntable. The box is made with the same paper material used in packaging for Apple products, so it’s water-repellent and strong enough to hold the core modular of your Spinbox and sturdy enough to allow DJs to scratch with the turntable. Meanwhile, the cardboard box is available in three optional designs, and it’s customizable using high quality printing.
Using included manual and screw driver, you can build your own turntable and learn the internal structure of a turntable. More importantly, you can use it to enjoy your favorite vinyl records with three speed levels: 33, 45 and 78rpm. Its built-in full range speakers deliver clear stereo sound. Moreover, it also supports external speakers or connects with your headphones.
Furthermore, the DIY portable turntable is compact enough to bring anywhere, and it’s powered by micro USB, which means you even can power it by a portable power bank. In addition, it also serves as a speaker that connects with your smartphone, tablet or any music player via 3.5mm audio jack.
The team of Spinbox has successfully completed the crowdfunding goal on Kickstarter, but we still can pledge $99 to preorder the DIY portable turntable. It’s expected to be shipped in November 2017.
