Sony announced multiple new mobile devices at MWC 2016 including Xperia X smartphone series, Xperia Ear smart wireless earphone, Xperia Projector concept and Xperia Agent concept. Now let’s keep checking what new features can be brought by the smart earphone.
The Xperia Ear is an innovative, app-enabled smart wireless earphone that measures 29.5 x 15.2 x 25.2mm and weights 6g. As we can see from the images, the ear-piece shows off an ultra portable and lightweight profile, and smooth contour and metallic finish delivers a charming and stylish look. Meanwhile, the ear-piece has been ergonomically crafted from soft silicone to snugly fit in your ear for hours.
Using built-in Bluetooth and NFC, the smart earphone wirelessly communicates with your smartphone, so you can receive voice-enabled notifications from the phone like messages, calendar reminders, weather, news and more.
Furthermore, the Xperia Ear can be controlled by your verbal commands via Sony Voice Control, so it not only allows you to make handsfree calls with ease, but also lets you interact with the earphone such as searching content via Wikipedia, navigation using Google Maps, controlling music playback and more. In addition, using an included charging case, you can conveniently charge the wireless earphone.
The Xperia Ear smart wireless earphone will be available from summer this year, but its pricing hasn’t been unveiled. If you’re interested, jump to Sony Amazon shop for its more details. Additionally, also don’t miss more related cool stuff by following tags.
