Sony RX100 VI is a beautifully designed and high-performance compact camera that measures 4 x 1.7 x 2.29 inches and weighs 1.28 lbs. As we can see from the images, the new camera shows off a similar design on appearance with Sony RX100 V. The solid black, bead blasted finish deliver a stylish aesthetic style and premium feel, and the compact and lightweight design not only allows for easy carrying, but also provides a comfortable grip for shooting.
Sony RX100 VI comes equipped with a 24-200mm f/2.8-2.4 high magnification ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T lens and 1-inch 20.1MP Exmor RS stacked back illuminated CMOS sensor paired with BIONZ X image processing engine, so it’s capable of producing high-quality images, and it supports up to 24fps continuous shooting, up to 1/32000 sec shutter speed, a wide sensitivity range from ISO 80-12800 and 4K video recording.
Furthermore, its fast hybrid AF system with 315 phase-detection points ensures the camera delivers accurate focusing in various situations, even at high speeds. The 3.0-inch tilting LCD features a touchscreen design so that you can simply touch it to focus, and its touch shutter feature even allows you to touch a point on the screen, activating its shutter without needing to press the shutter button. When you’re monitoring with its pop-up 0.39-inch OLED electronic viewfinder, you can slide your finger on the LCD monitor to shift focus.
Moreover, optical SteadyShot Image stabilization ensures smooth and stable framing and excellent image quality. Built-in WiFi and Bluetooth technology allow it to wirelessly connect your smartphone or tablet for easy to share your photos with others, convenient remote control and geotagging.
