The SolarBox is a rouged and versatile solar powered speaker that measures 205 x 62 x 68mm and weighs 430g. As shown in the images, the speaker sports a lightweight and compact form factor for easy carrying, and using a carabiner or the integrated hook loop, you can easily attach it to your bicycle, motorcycle, backpack, tent or even a tree branch.

The portable speaker meets IPX6 waterproof rating, which means the SolarBox withstands powerful water jets, heavy splashing and rain. Meanwhile, the SolarBox features a durable case that consists of three layers of solid rubber abs silica gel, which protect internal components from shocks and bumps.

The solar powered Bluetooth speaker comes equipped with two 40mm drivers with 4.5W x 2 output in order to stream high-quality wireless stereo audio, and built-in CVC noise-cancelling microphone let you make or answer clear handsfree calls. More importantly, the wireless speaker features a rough solar panel that charges its built-in 5000mAh rechargeable battery using solar energy. Just place your SolarBox under the sun for 30 minutes, it can offer 30 minutes of playtime. The built-in battery offers up to 60 hours of battery life on a single full charge.

Apart from these, the waterproof Bluetooth speaker also features a built-in LED flashlight for outdoor illumination, and it has multiple modes including illuminating mode, SOS emergency mode and wolf protection mode for different purposes.

The team behind SolarBox is raising fund for the speaker via Indiegogo. You can pledge $89 to preorder the solar powered Bluetooth speaker. It’s expected to be shipped in September 2017.
